Friday, February 5th

8th Grade students to the High School for enrollment

The 2009 - 2010 high school men's and women's basketball teams would like to invite the youth of Valley Center to a basketball game on February 5th against the Goddard Lions.  We will have free Valley Center Hornet Basketball shirts for the first 150 kids through the door at 4:00.  From 4:00 - 5:00, the men's and women's teams will sign autographs and share snacks with them.  Each child will be issued a free ticket for them self and one adult to attend the game.  We will then recognize all in attendance during halftime of the women's (approx. 6:00) and them men's (approx. 7:30) games.  Come and enjoy and exciting evening of Valley Center Hornet Basketball!!!!

    UPCOMING ANNOUNCEMENTS

There will be an incoming freshmen information meeting for 8th grad parent on Tuesday, February 2nd at 7:00 p.m. in the north gym at the high school.
Enrollment for 8th graders for next year will be Friday, February 5th at the high school during the school day - this is for students only.
Conference Week is February 8th (Monday evening February 8th, Wednesday evening February 10th and day conferences on Thursday February 11th) - Students have no school on Thursday February 11th, Friday February 12th and Monday February 15th.

Our Goal is to be the very best middle school in the State of Kansas. We serve approximately 620 of the greatest kids in the world, grades 6-8. Our school day is 7:45 AM - 2:45 PM. Late Starts on selected Wednesdays is 8:30-2:45
